PERSON OF THE MONTH: PATRICK Q. F. BARR

Patrick Q. F. Barr 

This is Patrick Q. F. Barr, known in the street as "Tiger Hood". We were incredibly lucky to meet him around Soho about a week ago. It all happen as we were taking a walk on Lafayette St. All of a sudden we saw a bunch of milk cartons laying on the floor. As we passed by, there were a bunch of pictures displayed on the sidewalk. While appreciating the art, Mr. Barr approached us; It turns out they were his work. 

 Before we knew it, we were in the middle of a very interesting conversation. His charisma and photographic talent quickly captivated us. For every picture we looked at, he explained its origin, its meaning, and its very witty name. 

As the conversation developed, we noticed that most of his pictures had a very profound antique touch. He then explained that he doesn't just consider himself a photographer, but more of a historian. His photography collected all the colors and diversity of NYC through out the years. From all of the amazing stories he told us, there were three words that really stuck with us;

"Don't Fuck Around"

Water Wigs By Tim Tadder

Photographer Tim Tadder realized that water made cool "hat shapes" when exploded on heads (specially on bold ones). So he assembled a bunch of cool looking dudes to rock these pretty hip "water hats".

This is what he did:

PIGEONS 101

 According to general audience, we tend to look at pigeons as "rats of the sky". As for me....I actually love them!!  ANYWAY. In an effort to make them look more friendly, artists Julian Charriere and Julius Von Bismark decided to collaborate to DYE pigeons in bright colors to make them look more appealing (dont worry, no pigeon was harm during this). Take a look at these wonderful looking human-colored pigeons:

OH...and to show that I actually like pigeons, I have sweater with this on it ;

Einstein's Riddle

Einstein wrote this riddle during the 19th century. He said that 98% of the world could not solve it.  Are you part of the worlds 2%? Only one way to find out.

There are 5 houses in 5 different colors. In each house lives a person with a different nationality. The 5 owners drink a certain type of beverage, smoke a certain brand of cigar, and keep a certain pet. No owners have the same pet, smoke the same brand of cigar, or drink the same beverage.
